Sazid Arafat is a Bangladeshi investigative journalist currently serving as a staff reporter at Ekhon TV. Over the past eight years he has built a reputation for tenacious ground-level reporting on climate change, environmental policy, political accountability, and human-rights issues.
His work has taken him from the flood-battered char-lands of the Brahmaputra delta to the smoke-filled corridors of national legislative halls, always in pursuit of stories that matter most to ordinary citizens. His investigative reports have sparked parliamentary debates, prompted regulatory action, and won international recognition.
In October 2024 he was appointed as a member of the Bangladesh Journalists Welfare Trust, reflecting his active commitment to supporting fellow journalists across the country.
